That article made my skin crawl. I've been washing my baby locs about every 5 days. (That is how long it takes my scalp to feel dirty) Reading that article makes me want to quit my job so I can wash my hair all day, everyday. Okay, I'm over reacting, but......yuck!
Okay... that was straight up nasty. I don't know where anyone gets the idea that not washing your hair for over a month or two is ever healthy, regardless of what hair style you choose. Because I started my locks in a salon I'm probably biased, but even when forced to maintain them on my own I wash and re-lock my hair every 6 to 8 weeks. I don't know who I felt more sorry for readin this, the dude with that filthy jacked up hair, or the loctician who had to stick her hands in it to wash it.
wow well i think that boy needs to come back every 2 weeks he already in his eight month any way.....
Yeah that was a straight up nasty. I don't blame the loctician for be upset, but I would have given him maintance but charged him more. I no for me. I am on a budget. So I couldn't afford to go to my loctician as often as she wanted me to. Also she did not teach me about taking care of my locs. After about six or seven months I started researching loc maintance using natural product. It takes more time to do my own maintance but I am so much more satified. Peace n Blessings.
