3 months isn't a long-time. i think there's a post in the articles section on rounded ends. your tips will seal and generally, there's no much you can do to encourage this to happen faster EXCEPT to leave them be. don't pull the hair apart or finger-comb it for example. just allow your hair to matte naturally and it should happen on its own.
First thanks soo much for the article on rounding tips, that really gave me some incourgement and what I should be expecting with my hair.
I also wanted to ask what things should I do to avoid my new locs from getting extra dry and damaged from exposure to the sun. Now first let me explain my situation. I am in Iraq working for the military as a civilian and the summer will soon be approaching. So I will be looking at tempatures reaching 120 degrees on regular. I have heard some say use a spray bottle with just water and oils for your locs and mist it on your locs during the day. Is this something that I should use? I just want to make sure that I do everything I can to take care of my new locs while now coming into there teenage stage in this type of tempatures. Please Help
