POLICIES AND PROCEDURES IN THE SALON
Kinky Rootz offers shampooing and conditioning treatments for any natural hair style requested. For longer services (4 hours or longer) arrive 15 minutes early for your shampoo and conditioning treatment.

Prices could increase from a number of factors including: your hair’s condition, texture, length, extra services requested, and size.

To remove extensions or braids, a fee will be charged.  Please do not come into the salon removing hair extensions.

If you arrive more than 20 minutes late for your appointment, you will have to reschedule and pay a late fee of $30 prior to scheduling your next appointment.

No children are allowed in the salon unless they are receiving a service. Due to the limited space in the suite, I am unable to accommodate others. If you show up with your children, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment.

If your child becomes unruly and can not sit in the styling chair for more than 10 minutes, I will discontinue the service and at that time you will be required to pay 50% of the requested service. Parents must remain with their children until the style is completed.

If a 48 hour notice is not given prior to a missed appointment, you will be required to pay 50% of the requested service prior to rescheduling.

I do not purchase hair extensions for hair service and my prices do not reflect the costs of hair extensions. Please ask for a referral to be given the specific type of hair needed to complete the style you request.

I only accept cash for services. I do not accept personal checks or cards.

You will be given a general estimation of the time it takes to complete a service. PLEASE BE PATIENT for everyone is not the same. If you have other engagements, please do not schedule them around your appointment at the salon.

Consultations are complimentary and are offered to assess your hair and to choose the best styling option for you. If you are not satisfied with a service, please inform me BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE SALON. I do not issue refunds. Once you leave the premises you are agreeing that you are satisfied with the service. For all consultations your hair must be free of hair extensions.

Services priced $150 and above require a $75 deposit, if you do not keep your appointment, your deposit will be forfeited and a new appointment must be made along with another deposit. No exceptions.
